People all over the world are learning this form!

Vidya is teaching weekly in our fall/ winter program!
Srividya (Vidya) Natarajan began learning Indian classical dance and vocal music when she was seven years old. When she was eleven, she started classes with Tanjavur Kittappa Pillai, one of the greatest masters of bharatanatyam in India at the time; she studied with him for almost twenty five years, until he passed away.
Vidya’s PhD thesis was on the history of bharatanatyam. She performed, taught and documented this form for many years in India. For the last eight years, since moving to Canada, she has worked with the Toronto dance company inDance
